Crestwood High School Reviews

Crestwood High School has some of the best teachers around. They not only teach well in the classroom, but give you great life lessons as well. I couldn't imagine going to any other school.

Crestwood schools are excellent! Teachers, Administration, Coaches, are great never had any problems. Everyone makes sure the student comes first. My daughter graduated in 2004 and is now in Clemson University. My son is a Junior and on the Honor Roll

Crestwood is full of teachers and other faculty that truly care about their students. While the post-high school preformance is not where it should be, I believe that students who put in the effort needed at Crestwood will gaduate having learned very important life lessons.

Coming from the intercity I find this to be a good school system. I only wish more parents would support the school levys.

Crestwood High School provided me with a strong education for my future. The teachers there are highly qualified and truly love their jobs and their students. In recent years, Crestwood has improved it's academic offerings but this process has been slowed by the failing of several recent levies. While not the majority, there are many parents of students who work tirelessly to improve the conditions of our schools. These parents along with the leaders of the district are always trying to improve the students school experience. I believe Crestwood does there best to offer as much as possible to students but lacks the ability to motivate the students at school. Crestwood is a great school district, and in the coming years, I have great faith that it will only get better.

Crestwood has an overall good reputation. But the financing of the school is horrible. All of the schools in the district are falling apart, yes we are getting new elementary buildings but what are we going to do with those kids after that? Shove them into old buildings again? I would love for a day before election day for all the tax payers to stand in the high school hallway and tell us we have enough room, because we don't. The class rooms are overloading with kids along with the halls and supplies. In the end we should have thought about this proposal before building new schools.

Although I am not a parent I do believe that anyone that would like to see this school should also get the students opinion from the classroom. I think that in all respects it is one of the better schools around. Most of the time it is great and we are able to learn a lot and go on from the classroom and make friendships that last. However, let us look at Crestwood's record for people completing college. It is pathetic. There is only about 13% that will graduate from college, that is a sad number and there is only a mere 20% some percent that will attempt college after Crestwood. So if you want the honest truth yes you will learn life lessons and make great friendships but if you want to be prepared for college I would consider another school for your child until Crestwood Changes the Cirriculum.

I'll tell you, comin from a student, it's one fine school. You can't get much better than this.
