Warrensville Heights High School Reviews

My son started Warrensville High School last in January in the 10th grade, after coming from another school. This school is horrible. It is the most unorganized, unproffesional place I have ever seen. Even my son, a kid, said the school has no structure or organization. No one ever answers calls. They don't return calls. Teachers don't reply to messages or emails. Half the kids are late everyday or don't attend, and there are constant fights and suspensions. I don't get any updates about anything in the mail and have no idea what's going on there. It's a shame that to get any type of information, I have to take time from work to go to actually go to the school.

My son was in Warrensville Middle School in 7th grade last year. The teachers were good, but the principal likes to suspend the kids to easily withou investigating what the problem is. I did not always think that the kid was right, but sometimes suspension is not always the way to handle some situations.

I attend Warrensville Hieghts High, and I believe that Warrensville has improved over the past years because of the new block schedule. I know that kids can't stand to come to school everyday, because I hate school myself. But with the way the school schedule has been running, I have made Merit Roll for the first time in my life, and it is because we are not pressured with 6 or 8 classes a day. Then having homework in everyone of them makes it even harder, and gives students a reason to cut school or skip a class. We get our credits easier and faster. So with me first sermester I had 4 major classes, and now I have 2 majors, and 2 electives. That really takes pressure off of me, and allows me to be more successful in school than I ever was before.

I am a student at the high school and it is awful too many fights. Children not wanting to learn, and there is just no dedication in the students they are not enthused about coming to school. I am for one, a student who hates coming to that school everyday. Therefore, I joined high tech academy to better myself into getting my education because I am not comfortable around the high school. The schools need major improvement. There are also a lot of overcrowed classrooms.
