“I am a parent of a SMFHS graduate class of 2005, the education provide has prepared her well for a successful college experience. The teachers, and administration are fantastic. The focus on student academics is progressive, and provides a variety of coursework. Extra Curricular options meet the needs of all students. The Drama production are great, the Band provides amazing halftime shows, and the Latin Club is well know for its success. I have nothing but good things to say about SMFHS, and the district in general. I still have kids in the district and look forward to the opportunities that they have ahead at the high school under the direction of the new administrator.”

“Most of the classes are college prep courses. Has a great selection of extracurricular classes and activities. Sports programs are still school funded and district has busing program. Addition of internet homework program has made it MUCH easier for parents to keep track of students progress. GRIPES: Not a wide selection of healthy foods for lunch, no microwave available for students who bring their own lunch, and they sell sodas in the cafeteria vending machines. Son's schedule was approved with no parental signature. Zero tolerance policy demands any student involved in a fight be suspended, reguardless if they were defending themselves or not.”
