Maple Heights High School Reviews

The High School is horrible. I'm a student there, all what happens there is vandelism, violence, drugs, and sex. The school is so dirty, you'll find used condoms on the floor. The adults in the school is uncaring and violent. NEVER SEND YOUR KID TO MAPLE!!!

horrible school, not up-to-date books, no professionals for teachers. always broken heating system, dirty

Not pleased with responses from teachers and administrators. Notices about changes or curriculums are late. Never uses books for current curriculums. Not equipped.

I am a current home owner and parent of three Maple Students. In the seven years that I have lived in the district, there had been improvement, but it still ranks below average. While the elementary schools motivate the students, I have seen the middle and high school goes the opposite direction. I am in the process of moving out of the district for this very reason. Unless something improves fast, I see this district turning into another Cleveland Public school system.

This is a 'first person' report about maple heights high school! i am a part of the school district, and i am glad to be aboard. Without fear of being labeled 'biased,' i can truly say that our students make the community proud! i am a homeowner in maple heights. Therefore, i know how many of the students warm up to me when they see me on the street. It is like a 'family relationship!' i do not hold back on discipline, and i get the support of most of my administrators. Nine times out of 10, most of the students i referred for disciple relate better with me, and advise their peers not to transgress. The joy of a teacher, i think, is in knowing that she/he has made a difference. My students show this to me on the street, in the classroom, restaurants, drive-through. You name it. They are excellent!

Maplel Heights school system has really declined, although I see the Brd Of Ed is trying to re-establish the school system. I oly hope it works. As a parent I am greattly disappointed therefor I plan on relocating to another sity with a much better school system.

Kids are not counseled, they are more criticized than counseled. Put down, and some teachers don't seem to care. No tutors are available.
